Philip Yancy wrote a great article about prayer being a surefire investment during a financial crisis. We get a fresh opportunity to realign who we are and what we value during an economic downturn so drastic it has implications for all of us.Yancy links our prayer during crisis to what Jesus Himself taught us to pray: "your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." He sees what we are experiencing as a potential return by the followers of Christ to the foundation of a missional financial focus.
