I waited a day to mention that my wife celebrated her 40th birthday yesterday. Why wait? Knowing Lesli, I did not think she would want a thousand people stopping her this morning at church and giving her birthday wishes. But, Happy Birthday Lesli!Lesli and I went to the Broadway show "Wicked" at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood yesterday afternoon (a nice Saturday afternoon matinee). Afterwards we had dinner together and then headed home. The kids enjoyed the day with friends.
It was a nice birthday. No black balloons or anything like that! Just us - enjoying the special day!
By the way, "Wicked" which is the story of the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz was just incredible! Check out the Wikipedia reference here.
